It caught me right away after reading this article that the English team are set to sleep in special altitude tents in preparation for this summer's World Cup. This special tents will actually helps to stimulate the body's natural adaptations to altitude. Altitude for this year World Cup is set to be around 1,750m. The main function is to create the high altitude environment, by lowering the oxygen level in the tent. If you have asthma & difficulties to breath, stay away from this!! So, what does it look like?

Perth - Arrival on Air Asia X and Fremantle

Sorry guys for not updating for sometime now. End of the year so, many things need to be done and completed before we usher to the new year.

1. Had this opportunity to rest,refresh and rejuvenate myself with a short trip down under, Perth to be precise. Mom and I planned this for almost half a year ago, tickets were going for around 500 bucks that time. Cheap dirt I must say.
2. First time on AirAsia X, damn sucky because you can't adjust the seats at all!! Had a neck pain when I woke up 4 hours later. We took the midnite flight and reached Perth after 6 hours, which is the same time as Malaysia because of their daylight saving time.
3. Prebooked 2 Mitusbishi Lancer from Avis with GPS to cater 10 people, but ended up getting a Ford Falcon & a Holden Omega. Was disappointed at first, but when I started to drive this beauty (the Falcon), American muscle never disappoint anyone. The car was simply superb to drive, much more better than Ford Fiesta which I drove in UK last year.

4. First stop was to check in to our holiday guest house, Summerset Holiday House, perfect for 10-20 people with all the facilities just like your own house, except for Astro. Worth it as they only charge 200 AUD per night.
5. Off to Fremantle right after. Just a simple Port town, very popular with its market and restaurants selling fish and chip,yummy. Stuff from fresh fruits, fragrant coffee,t-shirts and tornado potato were sold here which reminds me of Central Market KL.
6. Fruits were fresh, too bad it was still pricey as the season was just started. Best time to enjoy cheap cherries is in December. Cherries were going for 25 AUD per kilo, but in December it can go as low as 3 AUD per kilo.
7. In front of the market, there was another attraction, Fremantle prison. We did not even bother to go in as it doesn't seem to be interesting.

8. We had fish & chip plus seafood tray ( mixed seafood platter) for lunch at Cicerello. The portion was huge, one each and the 6 of us was already full. Too bad they dont provide chilly sauce, you need to buy separately actually and it was bit expensive. So, the seafood were only dip in vinegar and salt.
9. Seagull was all over the place. They can get pretty extreme if you gave them food and they start to fight each other just for a piece of chips. Reminds me of the group of seagull shouting "mine,mine" in Finding Nemo.
10. As a remembrance of the fishermen that contributed to much in Frematle, you can find few statues along just in front of Cicerello.

11. Just opposite Cicerello, the was the statue of Bon Scoot, the ex lead singer of ACDCs. Didnt know he was an Australian, reminds me of their hit single "Higway to Hell".
12. Gelato or Ice Cream was so tempting that I had it almost everyday.

13. Was a long and tiring first day actually. With just 2 hours of sleep on the flight, almost 13 hours of day light, walking and driving non stop, I went to bed at 9pm that day.

Batu Caves on Sunday

1. Visited Batu Caves for the first time ever in my life last Sunday together with Zul, Eyman and Faizal. The weather was so bright that many people especially Indians and foreigners took some time to visit this cave.
2. Best time to visit is in the morning, before 10am, just nice when the crowd is still not there yet. Be prepare to climb at list 284 stairs before you can reach the peak. Half way through, I was already 'pancit'

3. I underestimate that it was a piece of cake to climb up till the top, actually it is not easy as you think. upon reaching the top, you can see many Indians took the opportunity to pray for blessing especially for their kids.
4. Lotsa monkeys around scouting for food so beware if you are carrying any food along. There was this tourist from middle east who nearly got bitten by one of the monkey when he actually attempt to touch the monkey's head, what a stupid nuthead!!

5. Coming down was even worse than going up! The stairs was narrow and quite slippery as it was raining the night before. It make your 'kepala lutut' start to ache all the way till you reach down. Caught this cute little kid whose dad put him down and he started to crawl up. Manage to stop still when I wanted to take the photo.
6. A good excercise for us that Sunday by just walking up the stairs. If you can run up and down 5 times a week, conquering Kinabalu will definately be a piece of cake.

Service Platform Q3 outing

1. Had our team Q3 outing 2 weeks ago. The planned agenda was; started with breakfast at Pick N Brew, burn the calories with 6 frame of bowling session and lastly a nice lunch at Seoul garden, all in 1 utama.
2. This was the first time that our HOD, Risyam join us.He's not a big fan for outdoor, so bowling suits him very well.

3. A big breakfast to start the day, we had American breakfast full of pastries, fruits, sausage, omelets, pancakes and bacon. Everyone was so full by noon that we decided to skip the lunch and start bowling first instead. Owh my, the breakfast was a bit pricey, 20 bucks for the American breakfast.

4. Too bad the bowling alley was quite dark, imagine to freeza the action on camera and bump up the ISO, most of the pictures turned dark and the level of noise was bit high, wish that I have a D300s body with me. Fami was the overall champ. We ended up with only 2 frames each as most of us was tired, suffering from fatique hand muscles.
5. Lunch at Seoul garden was so so, infact I think that they have cut the numbers of food,used to be plenty last time around. Herbal soup was ok but I like the longan drink with fungus, super refreshing especially with the ice.

6. We had a great time especially when you don't need to work for the whole day. Looking forward to the next outing soon.

DiGi Q3 2009 results

Q3 results were out. DiGi management team took a whole 2 hours in the afternoon to brief all the DiGizens about the company's latest activities and performance as well as announcement about new developments and initiatives that will change the way Digizens work.

Movie of the night : Papadom

6 simple words to describe this movie; "Terlawak, Tersedih, Terbanyak pengajaran and Terbaik". I ranked Afdlin's movies pretty high as every new movie of his brings fresh ideas, new jokes and also introducing new cast, similar like what the late Jasmin Ahmad used to give us. Papadom the way I see :

1. Papadom is a very Disney like movie with lots of family values inside. It is a must watch especially for fathers with daughters. Bonding with your kids will be tough if you don't start early.
2. In the scene where Miasara was 10, the actually actress was Afdlin's daughter, also Miasara!
3. Ex Uitm students will get some picture how much Uitm have change since you left college. 60% of the movie was done in Uitm Shah Alam. You can see how the new Delima hostel looks like after going major renovation. The scene in front of the makcik jual buah reminds me of their mouth watering rojak.
4. Fans of Que Haidar and Farid Kamil, watched out for the gayish and geeky appearance .Something different from them. Watch out for "Wajib Tayang".
5. I like the part where Maisara like "menggentel" mat's nipple, but she was actually "menggentel" a cartoon character on is his shirt
6. Twist of the story is when Munirah (Saadom's wife) reappear many times in the movie, something that never strike my mind at all.

Majlis Potluck Lepas Aidilfitri 2009

Every year after raya, Service Planning department in DiGi will organize a potluck session (Mapolla) for our non Muslim colleagues. Lots of food was served, rendang, nasi lemak, lontong, kuah kacang, aneka biskut and not to forget the nasi impit (specially cooked by myself for the 3rd year in a row).This year Mapolla was quite special as we had a new department head, Risham to join us for the 1st time.

I avoid wearing baju melayu wole set with samping whenever I can because I hate the feeling of stickiness once you start to sweat. That day, I managed to survive 9 to 5 with the whole set..yeaaaayyyy...

to put up an event full of foods and happy people

We had rounds and rounds of food. Satay was the main sellout, almost gone in 30 minutes for 200 sticks. Pick of the day was Nasi beriani brought by Azuree. Too bad it was just the nasi without any lauk to go with.

Gedik santai session. Most of them are 'Mak Orang'.

2. Nikkor AF-S DX 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G EDWhy I need : Finally a cheaper version for a wide angle lens from Nikon. Dont trust Tammy or Sigma, just stick with Nikkor lense. With the widest angle you can get, pictures now will tell a gazzilion words.

3. Crumpler 6 Million dollar camera bag

Why I need : With a D80 body, 2 lense and a flash, the 4 million dollar Im having needs to make way for his bigger brother.

I'm a strong believer that Malaysia is not as cheap as what you always here on the news.Yes its true that we have like the cheapest nasi lemak on earth, but that is just nasi lemak. We don't eat or need nasi lemak everyday. Take car for example, almost a necessity for all Malaysian these days.Is it affordable enough? One good example, mini cooper, let see how do we define as cheap

This is a brand new mini cooper 09 in the US, going for 17,741 USD. If you convert, let say worse case scenario 1 USD = RM 3.8, this brand new car will be RM 67,415. This price is almost equivalent to Peugeout 206, Vios J Spec and maybe some Kia models over here. Kesimpulannye, Malaysian drive a Vios lowest spec and American is driving a 09 mini cooper for the same amount of money.

Compare to this brand new mini cooper 08 selling in Malaysia with a price tag of RM 195,290. This is equally to 51,000 USD. Do you know with that much of money, what car you'll be driving in US?We are talking 2010 Ford Mustang highest spec, Chevy Camaro, VW Tiguan. All those falls below 51K USD to be exact.Kesimpulannye, Malaysian drive a brand new mini but the American roars the street of NY with Mustang with the same amount of money.

Thats is brand new, now lets talk about 2nd hand cars. Continental cars in Malaysia is overprice especially when it comes to brand new.Due to this, the cheaper version which of cos the 2nd hand market aka recon cars has become very popular, that's how NAZA became so popular and rich. The estimate depreciation rate varies between 20-30% right after you drive out of the show room, then another 10% per year .

This is a 04 mini cooper selling for 129K, estimate about 34K in USD. With 34K, you might wanna consider a Mercedes C200, BMW 3 Series, Volvo S60, VW Eos or Hummer H3 as your car in US. Im talking about brand new here ok, not second hand. In summary, we drive a 2nd hand coop, the American is driving a Hummer with the same amount of money.

Second hand mini is basically price around this region, 5-10K USD, which translate around RM 38 K here. With 30K, dont even dream of smelling the interior of mini, Proton Persona pn tak lepas. At the end of the day, you end up driving a kancil (terase aku), your American counterpart is driving a 2nd hand mini. Sgt tak adil kan.

This is one of the example which in my opinion indicates that Malaysia is not cheap at all. For those who can afford, I must say that, if their purchasing power is in US, we'll be seeing lotsa gallardo and bently on the streets of malaysia.

How did Michael influence my life?

1. It all started when I was in Primary 4, a friend of mine, Vimal, he was like the Michael Jackson of SRK Convent that time. Yes, its SRK Convent ok, the only one in the world I guess which allow boys to sit for UPSR and enjoy being in an all-girl-namesake school. Mase ni, most of the occasion in school like hari penyampaian hadiah, malam kebudayaan pengakap, etc, one of the slot belongs to him. Doing the moonwalk along with "Black or White" playing at the background, that was the first time I was introduced to Michael Jackson. Abang Vimal skg dah pencen, he no longer has the stamina like those days.

2. I was so into "The Way You Make Me Feel" during the early of Secondary School. That time, I had a crush on this girl (takmo ckp sape!!), so I would imagine us being in that video yang Michael try to woo the girl by following her here and there. Tiap-tiap malam la aku berangan. Come to think of it, memang sakai la aku ni.

3. MJ playlist is a must bagi aku, be it in the car,ipod,pc. There was once, when I was driving and some friends was together with me. Mase lagu MJ dimainkan, one of them was like "OMG, you are listening to MJ Imran, so outdated!!" MJ has never been outdated. 15 years and counting, Im still listening to the same old MJ songs. Try listening to Billie Jean while jogging, you'll definitely fell lebih besemangat and kurang letih to run.

4. My first ever original cassette bought from pasar malam (that time, org tak tau nak pirate lagu lagi) was MJ's album, Dangerous. This guys, he sells kacang putih and cassettes mase kat pasar malam Tanah Rata dulu. The last time I saw him few months ago, he is selling kacang putih full time as his cassettes telah pupus due to the emerging of rapidshare,torrent adn itunes.

5. Before transformers the movie, MJ telah lame transform jadi kerete and robot in his movie, Moonwalker. If you remember the movie,part paling mengancam is when he toss the coin, then the coin masok ngam2 pulak vertically dalam slot coin jukebox itu. I did try to do the same at the nearby gerai where they have a similar jukebox, cume lagu MJ takdelah kan. End up dimarahi oleh makcik kedai coz it took me so long to choose the music, org lain pn nak pakai

7. I use to buy Galaxie mag every month wihtout a miss. Also, I do send every single contest available, provided that no slogans required. The first ever time I won was The Jackson 5 30th Anniversay celebration. Contest was easy, just be the first 30 to send in. Surprisingly, postmen atas bukit was so laju at that time to send to KL.The prize, a collection of 6 CDs of the Jackson 5, the only songs that I know till now is I Want You Back, ABC and Ben. Lain semue tak tau wooo...

8. Jika jiwa mengalami keracauan, start listening to "You are not alone", never fails to ease the keracauan.

As much as MJ music has touch and being there throughout 25 years of my life, Im sure that he has touch billions of people out there. Call him a freak,wacko,weirdo,homo,etc, nobody can deny what he has done for the music industry. MJ, you'll be remember by all....

Ikan patin masak tempoyak

Sorry for not writing for so long. I do have things to share everyday, is just that I'm too lazy to blog this way. Lets hope that one day, blogging will be as easy as, everything will be automated. What ever you think and say, will be written down for you.Super convenient rite?

School holiday is here and so does wedding season ( I try so much to avoid this topic but unfortunately I cant run). Had an opportunity to attend my classmates wedding during matriculation days. First was Pian and Zel, one is a teacher and the other half a dentist. Both were sweethearts during those days, 2003, those friends involved will remember how he was so cuak, trying to woo and confess her in Hugo Supermart ( Now Parkson of cos). "Kalu ade jodoh tu tak kemane", so here we are, 6 years later. Light brown was the theme, I must say, the lauk was superb. Lauk of the day, it has to be sambal belacan buah machang!!! Makan sampai terangkat pedasnye!! Oh, dont get me wrong, of cos I'm here for the newlyweds, tapi the sambal was so tempting. Took me 4 glasses of sirap to ease the heat.

Thank God it was not so hot that day, morning was so cloudy but it didnt rain, just nice for an outdoor wedding. If you guys notice, banner like this "Selamat Pengantin Baru" dgn muke classic pengantin has gain popularity. Maybe because there are so many weddings on the same day, this kind of banner will help para jemputan from attending the wrong wedding. Imagine if the in same kampung, 3 wedding dgn pengantin same name, mau tak kalutnye kalu sedare mare datang. Just my 2 sens..hahahahah...

Second wedding of the week was Azli & Lisa, both has the same storyline as Pian & Lisa except for both are teachers now. Also, the didnt start their journey in a supermarket. 2 kodok ini especially Azli, selalu kutuk camne Lisa pakai broch tudung die ( Her trademark was the broch dekat atas kepale,yang kecik la kan,mmg ramai yg perasan la). After few months stalking, he started to tell us about his crush and we started to help him. The rest was history. Azli...Azli....

This was the first time for me, a wedding which serves ikan patin masak tempoyak as one of the lauk. Superbbb!!!The 4 hours drive to Jerantut was worth every penny, not only for the wedding, meeting some old friends which I havent see in 6 years, it was a rare occasion. To both newlyweds, semoge berbahagie sampe akhir hayat.

out of no where, the birthday girl was terrified with the clown and stated to cry..poor kid

Few months ago, I had this opportunity to take some photograph for one of my colleague's daughter birthday party. It was my first time experience covering birthday party. Seeing this bunch of kids, laughing and having so much fun,no worries what so ever.Being kids, there's always your parents to depend on,to provide everything you need. Being kids for the rest of my life, I wouldn't mind though.

Found this very informative article while searching for Nikkor lens review. Didn't expect Ken Rockwell to come out with such writing especially when all he does is lens review and photography "how-to". You may find that most can be adapt to our Malaysia environment but some cant (He is an American by the way). Some of my comments on his writing.

1. "Cheap vs frugal" - Sometimes, because we wanna save so much, we actually forgot how being so cheap cost us more in the long run. Take example buying a second hand tyre which save you let say 50 bucks from brand new, does it guarantee to last as long as brand new?what about the safety? The cheapest option isn't always the best. Being frugal is seeking value for your money.

2. "Never Buy a New Car" - Unfortunately in this country, if you stick with national or Japanese car such as Honda or Toyota, it doesn't make any different because the depreciation of value is not significant between first and second hand. Plus the high interest rate for second hand car, you might only save a bit. Example below:

Brand new Honda City (RM89,000) with interest rate of 2.8%.
Total cost of ownership = RM100,278 / Rm928 per month.

2007 Honda City (RM 60,000) with interest rate of 4.5%.
Total cost of ownership = RM84,300 / RM 780 per month.

As you can see, we might thing that second hand car save us a lot, its actually not. Unless you are going for continental car (BMW,Mini,Volvo), the depreciation valus is much greater, some say around RM 30K to 20K a year. Dont dream of having cheap car as long as Proton and Perodua is still around.

3. "Don't Commute" - Its hard not to cummute this days, especially if you are working in KL

4. "Dont eat out" - Totally agree. A recent visit to Kedai Ikan Bakar Section 2 Shah Alam during lunch time almost made me look at the makcik twice, a mid size kembung bakar, sayor manis masak lemak and nasik separuh cost me 6 bucks!!!!2 years back the same thing only cost half. Blame at the price of petrol? It has gone down now, so who and what to be blame for bizarre price? Like Rockwell said, unless you're eating off the dollar menu at fast food (as he have always done), cook your own food!

5. "Patience and diligence" - Rockwell says that he waited until the time is right to get things that you want. Normally, when things is new in the market it will be very expensive. Just be patience and wait, you'll get the same stuff at a cheaper price.

6. " Trift " - I believe this is Rockwell's qoute of the year, " a luxury, once sampled, becomes a necessity ". If you used to something, you tend to stay and never down grade.

7. "Live with your parents" - Ken stress that only move out if you really need to. Its not like you are staying for free, but the amount you gave to your parents every month is much lower compare to staying out by your own. Plus, you get to spend time with the family, something that I really miss when staying alone.

1. What a week that was. Firstly, after one and a half year delay, finally I'm done with my masters. Fuhhhhh...Writing the whole thing itself has cost me 3 months of weekends sitting down and keep own typing and typing. The momentum has to be there so that you wont slip and ignore the whole thing ( I tend to get distract very easily). Writing is one thing, the presentation itself if another whole new thing. After years of experience, I found out that, do not present things you dont know how to explain, in detail of cos. Nanti kene tembak dgn persoalan maut, kat situ jugak la kantoi. I also notice that not many lecturers give a constructive criticism . Mostly more towards targeting what we miss and without giving any suggestion how to improve. No wonder my previous supervisor said that it is easy to get a PhD outside compare to Malaysia. Sebabnye,lecturer sini terlalu taksub dgn kesalahan yg student buat,kritik gile2 then fail kan.Tak percaye?I bet you can get the answers from student2 yg pernah buat PhD locally. Anyway, that's for now,I'm stopping here,no more any of this academic stuff for at list another 5 years. I need a break. Put yourself in my shoes and you'll see what its like studying full time while working.

2. Started the break with a trip down under to Singapore visiting relatives and at the same time jalan2 around Singapore (last was 2005). Lotsa change I would say, but most of the development were well plan since they have very limited land to waste on. We drove down (almost 4 hours). It was the first time driving down under. Not much of hassle driving around as the sing boards are visible everywhere.

3. Back in the office on Monday. DiGi were having this event called "DiGi Stampede" where about 900 of us including the C's go out around Klang Vallley to promote people to switch to DiGi and keep your numbers. 28 teams consists of 30 people each were drop in various places. Being the last team leave the office, we end up somewhere new by, Sunway Pyramid. Teman ni bab2 menjual ni yg payah,mmg kene muke tebal 18 inchi baru dpt jual. So, to play safe without feeling to embarrass, I settle with just giving out flayers, let the rest do the talking. Mmg malu giledowhh!!!

4. Ok now back to jelajah kampungku. This time we look at Leicester. Kecik2 dulu aku sebot lai-ces-ter. Back then, their home footie team, Leicester City was still in premiership. Remember Tony Cotee, brother yang men untuk selangor dulu? He use to be one of the star player for Leicester. Anyway, Leicester is about an hour by bus from Loughborough. Setakat yg aku nampak, this town has the most Indian minority in the town itself, so bolehla nampak kedai jual tandoori and saris die merate Leicester.

Owh before that for those who wonder what is car boot sale, it the the British form of "kedai bundle" minus the kedai actually, Car boot sales are a way of focusing a large group of people in one place to recycle still useful but unwanted domestic items that previously would have been thrown away.Macam2 boleh jumpe kat sini, from toys up to kerusi meje,semue boleh dpt.

6. Weather wasnt good that day, so we did not get that much time at the car boot sale. So, we moved on to another market sale, this time in one of Donington Park Circuit parking space. This market offers mostly immitation goods at a very low price, but dont expect as cheap as car boot sale lah. Stuff from toys, handphone acessories, bantal, tilam, keropok, boleh dpt kat sini

2. Second part of the jelajah pulang ke kampung (sile lempang aku kasi sedau sikit) is to the land of Robin Hood, Nottingham. Agak sengal cause baru skg aku tau Robin Hood actually from here.You can google around if you are interested in the history of Notts (gitulah name samaranyg depa bagi). Notts situated north of Loborough, around an hour by bus, the bus will follow a very breath taking country scenery along the way. Anggak jakun la kalu first time macam aku melihat bagaimana kampung2 mereka di sane. Ofcos minus the lembu2 yg tido suke hati di tgh jalan. One way trip cost you around 1.50p.

2. Try pronoucing Loughborough mase nak beli tiket train & bus membuatkan pakcik counter di London terkebil2 memikir manelah aku nak pi (mase tu aku pronouce as La-be-re). Akhirnye, setelah aku terpakse spell the word sebijik sebijik, barulah pakcik tu habaq (Oh, so you are going to Luv-bra). In this situation, after 13 hours flight from KL where I did not sleep at all, rase cam nak lempang je Queen Elizabeth sebab bagi name tempat ejaan punyelah complicated, nak sebotnye senangje. Loughborough is about 150 miles north london, 3 hours journey by bus or you can opt for their national train which takes you about 1 & half hours. Harge tiket, tak mahal, cheapest way is by bus ( 16pound(p) on counter / 5p online),kalu naik train (45p on counter/ 16p online). Both are one way. In this country, pape pn kalu beli online akan jadi murah, so kene plan dari awal2.

3. I opted for the bus since tu yg paling murah. Kat sini the whole long distance bus operated by 1 companyje, National Express. So kat sini takdelah jumpe ulat-ulat pakai walkie talkie bertanyekan " adik manis, mau pigi mana? JB, Singapore, Penang?". Bus going out of London akan operate dr Victoria Coach Station. Bus station pong superb, susah la nak jumpe asap berkepol2, and then plak bus akan leave sharp bile time dah sampe. Mase bus driver tu tanye aku nak pi mane, dgn confident lagi senyum sampe pipi aku menjawab " Im stopping at Luv-Bra". Paham jugak bus drebar tu ek. So the bus departed at 9pm dgn memakai sit belt dlm bus (compulsary ok!!).Sampe pn around midnight dgn keadaan yg sgt letih and the worse part jet leg.

4. Bandar Loughborough secara generalnye sekecik Tanah Rata + Brinchang. Most of the population are student ( Loughborough University), selebihnye adelah geng2 pakcik and makcik veteran, in their late 40's and 50's, macam tempat org pencen2 plak. Town centre is cool, dont be surprise sekecik2 bandar ini, you can get Clarks, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins (DP), Marks & Spencer and byk lagi.

See how cheap is fruits over here. The strawberries is 10 times sweeter than you get here. Pisang plak begitu montel sekali. All this you can eat around 1p. Kalu nak tutup, die kasi 2 kotak stoberry for a pound. Fruits are one of the local stuff that I enjoy the most

1. Congratulation to my one of my gang, Ali who got married on Friday (080808), semoge berbahagia hingga akhir hayat. I personally prefer to extend the kebahagiaan till akhir hayat cos some might prefer hingga anak cucu. Come to think of it, after you have anak cucu and umor panjang, will you still be bahagia??ahahhaha,just my 2 sens. So again, semoge bahagia hingga akhir hayat. Majlis bersanding was this afternoon, I was so happy because ramai kenalan mase degree dulu datang. The ladies was busy talking and discussing bile mau kawan and for yg dah kawin bile junior nak mai. The guys plak sebok mengukur prut sape paling boyot kedepan. I must say that I'm a bit relieve and kurang terase cos back during study time, all I have was just 6-5 pax (only one la!!). So till today, nothing much change since back then.Maintain je......

2. One good lesson learned last week was, no matter how good you plan for something,just be prepared for the worse case scenario, especially when doing something for the first time without having any experience before. 2 hours of explaination to the bosses plus all the scolding i get, i guess its true like what they always say,shit happens!!!

3. Fariq, sahabat teman since zaman2 primary 1 lagi, mase tu 1 terung ( agak malu bile org tanye ape name class ko mase sekolah dulu) sudah pn bergelar seorg DR, dentist to be exact. Congratulations, it shows that all the hard work put in sudah pn membuah kan hasil. Dr Fariq, if you ever read this, bile ko nak schedule buat scaling gigi aku neh, dah berkarat tahap kapal titanic yg karam tuh

4. Malaysia's political scene suck big time. Lotsa conspiracy here and there. To be honest, none of them can be trusted, be it the badawi's team or even anwar's clan. Semue tak leh caye, pandai bermain dgn kate2 manis. Mungkin depa tu kencing manis kot, thats why kalu bercakap pn selalu manis2 je. Lets all pray for a change and stability towards a better Bolehland.

5. Exactly in a month time, I'll be on vacation. To be honest, I do feel like a bit nervous now going some new place for the first time. With the 13 hours of flight, it better be all smooth..

Tonight's debate between Shabeery and Anwar was like a debate between a mechanic with the owner of the car who knows nothing but to blame on the mechanic for his malfunction car.One who champions the economy of Malaysia and another is just a menteri yg tugasnye "menggam" artis yg tak ikot undang2. Im sure if you are reading this ,you'll agree with me. Anwar came out with so many convincing facts but Shabs just more on a defensive mode, debating Anwar's past history. I personally dont take any side, but I have to go with Anwar this time especially when he mentioned about other oil producing country which have a high inflation rate. Take Venezuela for example, inflation is sky high but petrol is still dirt cheap. Compare to Malaysia, already petrol is sky high, inflation as well is getting up there. All this facts, Shabs just couldn't counter back. Why did the government put him in this debate at the first place. Letaklah seorang expert with our economy. Debate ni bukan dgn calang2 org, we are talking about Anwar yang kate2nye (walaupun kene kencing) begitu influential sekali. Ish ish ish, let see whats the papers would say tomorrow, not to forget other blogs as well

Euro is over. What a surprise to see Aragones yang dah tue gile kene angkat dek anak2 buahnye, nasib baik org tue itu tak kene heart attack. From France to Holland, then ke Germany plak, you can see how "lalangness" I can be sometimes in football. France were no longer playing the " pass to winger and then let Henry run as free as possible" style, they were too dependent on the kude2 tue with the likes of Thuram, Sagnol, Coupet & Henry. The only outstanding player was Ribery, too bad he was injured at the early stage during the last match against Italy. Holland was soo predictable, strong in group stages but hampeh in the knockout stage.Dont know what went wrong there. My player of the team, it has to be Sneijder. Germany pulak, well it shows that tall defenders does not always have the advantage. I dont blame Lahm for letting Torres scored, its more on how Metzelder & Mathesacker handle the strikers. Both are way too slow and senang diperkotak katikkan. Let see in 4 years time who will be the European Champions.

Back in Malaysia again. I must say it has been a "bangun-awal-pagi-to-read-blogs" week. So many things happen, starting with this guy "poking" this guy, then this guy play nyorok2 in turkish embassy, this guys pulak said he got no connection with the ongoing allegations.The guy who "poke" claims that this is all lies and everything was a scam to bring him down again. Even the IGP and AG has something to do to with this.Come today at a press conference, someone's PA made a confession publicly that guy actually have meet and has some special connection with this girl. Malaysia is getting more and more in the spotlight for the wrong reason. With all this scandals and rumors, plus the shrinking of ringgit and the ever high petrol price, I'm not sure this place can be our "tanah tumbah negaraku" lagi. Is like waiking up tomorrow not knowing whats gonna happen to the country.

Life have been very hectic lately which explain why I could not blog as often as possible. My dissertation for Masters has finally kick off (after some warning from my supervisor due to the habit of postponing for already 3 consensive semesters) plus my daily work in the office, life can never be busy like this. Due dates here and there, makes you have nightmares in sleep. Here are some stories that I would like to share:

1. Remember I was complaining about fuel price lately, look at just how much a full tank of petrol for kancil this days. RM 49.80 for a full tank!!!!!extra of 15 bucks than normal.After fueling up, I was driving as slow as I can on 5th gear so that no petrol are wasted unnecessary..cewahhh

2. I had a very good lunch on Sunday at my favorite nasi daun pisang in KL. The muttons are super kaww!!Bought a friend this time, I'll make sure he's addicted like me as well. We were lucky enough that day to meet my uncle, so the lunch was on him...yayyyyyyy...

3. DiGi is having a mini EURO futsal tournament. There are 16 teams, each represents the same sets of groups and matches just like the real EURO 2008. Unfortunately, I was in team Greece (why la Greece). The first match was against Sweden, its the CEO's team since he's Swedish. Aku ingat kan depa ni budak hingusan kaki bangku but actually they can play and they beat us!!!Next match is tomorrow against Russia. Part of the futsal, we also have cheerleaders for each team. So far the most outstanding cheerleader is France which is from the call centre team. Wonder why? 4. Fellow bloggers Jeff Ooi and RockyBru was in the office this morning, giving talks on "will blog become the mainstream media in the future". Rm 2.70 per liter. Yeap, thats what we will be paying for petrol starting midnite. From Rm 1.92 to RM 2.70,about 40%,thats really huge. The last spike was only RM0.30 and you guys might know what other things went up as well. Asal ade kaitan dgn petrol, semue pn naik.When I first started driving, it was only about Rm25 for a full tank (I'm driving kancil by the way) which can last we about 350-400km. Then when the government increase RM0.30, a full tank would cost me around RM34. Now with this new price,I guess it will be around RM45 (Alhamdullilah I actually pump full tank yesterday, tak payah la queue up bagai nak gile kat petrol station today). Bagi aku,honestly I dont really fell the pinch of this spike cos it will probably add up an extra RM50-Rm100 on my spending for fuel.Kire still manageable...tapi(sigh)...Nampaknye ade harapan la aku pakai Kancil sampe mati neh.Not only that, maybe less trip balik kampung, less movie marathon, less makan2 pricy food (Carls junior,Bubba Gump shrimp, McD,huhhu) so that the money save boleh di park kan under petrol expenses.Yang paling dirisaukan,if (aku rase dah for sure) the rest of the petrol berkait things like food,electricity, etc. Mende2 tu actually yg betol2 membebankan.
I dont know what is our government thinking before and after deciding the price hike. Agak membebankan I would say I you are a low income earner. Memang for sure fuel price hike tak boleh dielakkan but I hope they'll do something to compensate this hike. Nak kate ade improvement kat public transport,makin teruk adelah. To compare petrol price with Singapore is totally insane!!First of all, kite adelah pengeluar minyak, so if harge minyak naik, kite dpt untung. Secondly, yang aku hairan bin ajaib skali is when we compare,we compare in ringgit. The last time I was down under,a liter of fuel cost around SGD1.80. Bagi Singaporean murahle sebab its only SGD1.80 where else kite ni yg earn in ringgit,bayar time tu RM1.92. Put the conversion a side because depa earn in SGD and we earn in RM

I must say that, throughout last week, it was really a fatty+high calories+lemak tepu habis week that actually sabo my month long diet program. It all started on Sunday with my fav nasi daun pisang in Jalan Gasing PJ, Kanna curry house with Ai Jia. It was her birthday so you know,once a year occasion, why not just forget about the diet thinggy and pamper yourself, dah lame tak pekena nasi daun pisang neh. After all, the lunch was balanced, nasi separuh with 3 side dishes of vege. I just could not resist the mutton curry Owh my, is there any time when I actually can resist the temptations for lamb & mutton. Memang tak leh siot tahan from this stuff!!!

Come monday, aku berazam not to take anything except for dinner in order to fully utilized all the extra calories taken from yesterdays lunch ( I skip dinner actually that day,huhuhu). So before lunch hour, i made myself clear im not going out and will keep myself busy during that hour to forget about lunch (konon la boleh tahan). Too bad one of my collegue dgn berbesar hati mau belanje. What can I say, sebagai seorg yg bujang, you cannot say no when it comes to free food,kiasu gile kan. We got to know that Wendy's (one of the most popular fast food chain in US which is famous for their square shape beef petty) baru sahaje bukak dekat Sunway Pyramid.Wanted something different and new, so off to Wendy's!!I must say nothing special, just lame and ordinary food, burgers itself normal except for the square shape petty, thats all. The feeling of guilt was there tapi apekan daye, org belanje so bedalje. That nite I skip dinner again, 2 days in a row. Horray!!!!

On Wednesday, McD came out with a version of double Big Mc. Extra 2 beef petties ( makes it 4 altogether) and 1 extra cheese. And they called it " Mega Mc". I had it for dinner that day, so bayangkan lah,after makan mmg mengantok gile siot. They were also having a promotion of free Big Mc throughout May. The trick is, you need to do the Big Mc Chant in 4 seconds to walk away with that Big Mac. I got the coupon which entitle for 1 chance to take part but still I dont have time to pay a visit and do the chanting. Might be doing soon as tgh bulan camni, duit dah sengket,its time for free food...hahahhah

Friday plak, there was a surprise party at the office. Being own by Norwegian company (Telenor), we celebrate almost every big festive season in Norway. It was their National Day on Saturday so since its on the weekends, the management decided to bring forward a day and we had in on that Friday. Aku rase nilah hari paling guilt makan tahap babun. We had 6 inch hotdogs and Waffle (vanilla and chocs)+ Ice Cream ( whole tons of flavor) + Topping (Super manis toppings from blueberry cream, choco chips+ceramel and etc) courtesy of Waffle World (1 Utama). We also had this special super duper hard and sweet pretzels (kire cam tradisional cookies la untuk depa). It was like Hari menternak lemak + sugar level +perot boroi for all that day

To sum up my super duper ternak lemak week, I end up with Carls junior today. For those yang tak tahu lagi, yep, this is the same Carls junior that hit KL before ( they even open the 1st fast food chain in Cameron but only bertahan for 4 months before guling tikar. Guess the farmers up there prefer their Rm2.00 Ramli burger than the RM7++ for Carl's). Name is still the same but if you expect the price and the burgers just like the 90's,be prepare for the extra large burger size with some hefty price tag (cheapest is RM15++ for just the burgers). Mahal sey kalu melantak hari2.The portions of the meal justify the price, so you wont be complaining much about the price.I had Double western bacon burger ( 2 beef petties + bacons + onion rings) and medium set of fries and drink. The fries itself are not like those in McD's, here are thicker and you can see some leftover skin on it. I do prefer my fries to be that way, it brings out extra natural flavoring to the fries. It cost me RM 25 for this but nasib baiklah the manager is a friend Faizol, so we got a 20% for everything.

Al-fatihah to my primary school ustaz, ustaz Jalil who passed away on Saturday due to kidney failure.Banyak jase beliau mase teman sekolah rendah dulu, the one who menyempurkan sane sini ilmu fadhu teman.

Last Wednesday, aku mendapat seruan to finally donate my blood. Before ni mmg ade niat, but past bad experience (had to actually carry kawan teman yg berat nak mampos setelah die tumbang right after donated his blood)during high school membuat kan aku hesitate bile nak donate. You know, millions out there can benefits from this donation, so teman pn dengan beraninye (still hasitating actually mase isi borang declaration) donate lah jugak akhirnye. Taken advised from kawan teman yang pengsan dulu tu, I had a quite heavy breakfast that morning to avoid any unnecessary pitam here and there.

The whole process took around 45 minutes actually. Started with some weight and blood pressure test.I actually gain some weight after all the crash course diet I had this few week, Ampeh!!!Blood preassure normal. Then come the blood type test. I dont remember my blood type at all, seriously!!A type to be exact, and they say this is the darah mahal type, cos I can only share with my fellow type A only. After all the confirmation, I sat on a very relaxing orang malas chair,then the nurse datang and start poking needles on my veins. First to macam mo buat lubang cket adn then the second to put in the needle yang akan salurkan the blood ke dalam beg-beg khas. So, my blood started to flow along the tube and into the beg, I was ask to squeeze harder and tighter so that the bloood will flow faster. Manelah aku tau yang by squeezing itu dapat fasterkan blood flow.hehehehhee...I guess it was a good experiance, looking forward for my next donation.

1. Greys anatomy - Finally ep 12 came out lat Friday after more than 3 months tak dengo cite. Lexi is staying with George (didnt see that coming), McDreamy is dating that nurse, Mcsteamy masih dalam berpuase mode (not in humping mood these days), Callie has a bff (Dr Hahn). Im still waiting for the whackiest affair this time, who would it be. McSteamy & Torres? Joe the bartender with Grey?or maybe Chief & the Nazi?

2. One Tree Hill - B Davis semakin hot and matang walaupun she is officially a mother now by adopting a kid actually. I find that her husky voice really sexy, it makes my nose bleed!!!That cute little Jamie, every episode semakin menonjol actingnye.

3. Smallville - Now Kara is trap in some planet yang tak dapat dikesan oleh setelite, CK is all alone again trying to save the world from Lex. Lionel is dead, memang dah confirm mati and takkan ade balik.Im waiting for Louis to finally take over Lana's place, the one that CK will end up with.

4. Scrubs - Walaupun cite ni mengarot, never fail to make we laugh macam kene sawan

Nampaknye lately, ape saje yg keluar dari mulut DR M, semue orang especially politicians berkerut dahi thinking how to counter his opinions,critics, allegations, ideas and etc. Read his latest outbreak today. Tunggu sajelah how long Najib will take to answer and what he will say to this. Walaupun dah pencen, aura DR M tetap menyengat, nobody will take his words for granted. His charisma as a leader never fades. Orang kate die agak kotor mase memerintah dulu (aku rase takde one politicians pn yg bersih di dunia neh) tapi majority of Malaysian still respects him. That is what leader is all about, being respect by the rakyats!!

I got this email from a friend, the title was "2008 summer blockbuster movies". I must say that whoever did the modification of this poster did it well especially using photoshop. The superimpose, near perfect I would say.Manelah die dpt idea to superimpose image Pak Lah into the original Initial D movie poster. Pastu plak the the title itself membuatkan aku tergelak seketika.With the Type ZzZz (Type R actually for Honda performance tune engine), first time sape2 tgk poster neh, memanglah nak gelak. It shows that if seseong itu sungguh obses nak kenekan org lain, kreativitynye akan meningkat sekali ganda untuk mencari jalan nak kenekan org tu jugak. Aku agak amazed ngan perkembangan reality show this days. Nampaknye makin ramai nak tunjukkan whats goin on with their daily life. Show yang paling aku layan skg, Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood. Walaupun nampak die ni macan thugz, PIMP, ganas gile, tapi at home actually he's like the totally opposite. His wife actually cam orang bese je, nuthing hot compares with any of the gurls yang features dalam videoclips Snoop. Satu mende yang aku observe and envy, is the openness between Snoop as the father with his kids. I myself use my mom as a proxy to talk to my dad. Rasenye rate2 budaya kite kat sini, agak close ngan mom rather than dad. Ape yang selalu disuarakan, will always be rejected by him. Mothers are more lenient and flexible, as long as you are a good boy...which I am (confest habis neh)...Mom will always listen...

Aku sendiri antare yg susah untuk adapt and change to suit the changers around. This is call being very the comfortable dlm "comfort zone" masing-masing. When everything is ok around you,buat apelah kan crack your head and take the risk untuk buat something which you dont know what is the outcome,simply because you never do it yourself before. Life is all about changers. Satu lesson yang aku belajar is kalau we take the risk and succeed, kepuasan itu macam makan ikan bakar kat Jalan Bellamy belakang Masjid negare. Alhamdullilah and worthwhile. If not, ade kalenye rase seperti ingin berenang merentasi lautan pasific supaya dpt dilupakan and some take it as lesson learn to improve in the next attempt.

Some life experience and lesson learned around me since my last entry:

1. Buat kali pertamenye aku witness C section operation....but it was recorded earlier by my boss. Aku agak pelik jugak cos as far as i know, nobody is allowed to bring in video cam into the OT, ni kan plak record the whole process. My colleague, the 5 of us, visited his wife in Pantai Hospital Bangsar. This was her 3rd time giving birth thru ops, so mmg le dah otai dah bab bab the trill and spills of the ops. Boss aku yang sengal pn playback the whole procedure mase kitorg sampe. Aku terkebil2 jugak trying to figure out ape yg that man in that green scrubs tu buat. My boss,being the champion 2 times before this, told us in detail ape depa buat. Aku lihat agak simple,memule cam potong perut die cket,and then cube untuk pecah kan that selaput belon (ntah ape namenye), tarik baby tu keluar, kasi baby tu nangis, and the jahit balik. Everything in 20 minutes tak silap aku. No screaming ("1 2 3 Pushhhhhhhhhhhh...Its coming out,OMG....1 2 3 Pushhhhhhhhhhh....) mcm normal delivery yang first time aku tgk mase matrix dulu. Cume setback yg aku tgk the patient agak lemah cket, takes few days before boleh recover. Im trying to imagine mase org2 dulu, takde OT and scrubs, how to they deliver the baby kalu ade complication yang memerlukan ops. Pakai parang maybe??anybody can explain?

2. That genius girl Safiyah Yusof yang ntah macam mane dgn selambe kodok jadi prostitute pehtu dgn selambe kodok lagi jual interview dengan News of World so that the whole world knows what was her sex experience like. Her most search quote on Google: "I had the best sex in my life.....". She's hot I must say!! (iklan sampingan)......Aku kat sini bukan layak untuk judge die on what she's doing now. Memang lah salah from all segi whats she's doing now, but sure there must be a reason for her act. Parents nowadays berlumbe2 nak mengeniuskan anak2 seawal mungkin. Take Sufiyah for instant, at the age of 13 dah masok Oxford dgn life without TV and study gile2, aku 13 tahun masih lagi pi main aci kejo kat taman permainan without having the thought of PMR,ni plak kan College. She maybe genius dari segi Math and stuff tapi aku rase dr segi mentality, macam manelah die nak bergaul ngan classmates die yg kat sane rate2 remaje kerepot umor 17 and above. The way of thinking is totally different. Imagine having to change your mind set all of a sudden just to adapt with the new environment, kije gile tu babe. At the age of 13 baru nak kenal monkey love, the rest udah kenal the art of "Gitu-gitu,ahem ahem", so no surprise she is obsess with "gitu-gitu" today. Malaysia government plak nak jadi champion lately, to send some motivator for some nasihat and stuff. Its too late dude, she's like 19 now, dah besar panjang untuk pikir whats good and bad. So, i dont see the benefits for this.

3. Never in my life aku tak boleh tido malam sebab pikirkan kije. My colleague selalu cite depa tak dpt tido when there are work still pending on them. True enough, this week aku dah kene penyakit neh. Whatever normal daily routine I did, that pending shit work keeps on playing around in my head. Talking about responsibility where if you dont deliver, it will effect the rest. Worse cast if your work depends on others to solve for you because you dont have the expertise. 1st day experience with system administrator(SA - people who administrate the servers) was so shitty, some of them doesn't even know the basic of UNIX and you call yourself a SA.In Digi, your work is specific, let say in my example, you know that problem can be solve with the help of SA, you can basically tell him what to do, and he should know how to do. Bile SA pn donno how to do, it gets very frustrating. Thats why I didnt get my normal tido malam. 3 consecutive sleepless nite googling here and there to find the solutions sebab sepatah haram I didnt know and takde experiance about this, more than 12 hours sitting in the 10 degree Celsius server room and selambe kodok touch the system without permit ( kalu kene tangkap,mmg jadi kodok la aku), alhamdullilah everything was ok and I get my sleep again yesterday.

It has been awhile since my last tagging.So,here is a quick one:

1. For those of you yang ingat selame neh aku tak pernah maintain rambut panjang,I did kept my hair long before decided to go bold. The longest ever was up till my shoulder when I was in my matriculation year, way back in 2002. The intention was, if it was long enough up till my senior year in Uni, I try to capture the atttention mase graduation day dgn style rambut ala2 cornrow Snoop Dog. Too bad rerambut aku semue mogok and merusuh at the end. So plan tu aku kene cancel.

2. I like to bake. So far cheese,moist cake and chocolate chip cookies tu kacang putihje. Its like a must kalu balik kg, I'll bake something for the family & friends (kat kg je ade microwave oven). Wonder how I can do it kacang putih style? Here is the secret : Get yourself to the nearest supermarket and buy the ready mix-senang cite-terus bake flour!!! Thats what I do all the time.

3. My daily meal is simple. Mesti kene ade sayorrrr, tak kire sayor ape. I can do without rice and meat the whole day. Kalu takde sayorrr, rase lain macamje.

4. Takes me some time to actually appreciate & menghayati music and movies. Take Harry Potter first movie (what was the title again??lupe plak), It took me till kuarnye the sequence (2 years later) baru aku start layan the 1st one. Begitu juge lagu2 yg hangat the pasaran, few months down the road and it will be a hit for me.

5. One of the weirdest thing I enjoy the most all this years is when telinge aku dikorek. Sedap gile babe, the feeling is sooo unexplainable. Too bad the only person I trust for this job is my mom. So I will only get the opportunity when I get back to kampung..huuhuhhu...

6. Im addicted to durian and petai, no joke about that. For the record, I did ate 2 whole durian by myself before, ended up that nite sweating like mad plus the sore throat & fever to sum up the nite. But that never stop me from enjoying it over and over again. My petai, I prefer it to be cook,I cant take raw. Have you guys try petai masak tempoyak?

7. I hate reading.Still trying to pupuk the semangat at this consider very late stage

8. I actually wanted to be a cook all this time. Found some sense of satisfaction when I get to cook and people actually enjoy my cooking. Too bad people see the profession as a cook not that glamorous. I myself could find the right path of becoming a cook.

Lately, aku bekerje agak kuat. That one day itself,aku bekerje almost 16 hours non stop, from 10pm till 2pm the next day. Gila kan??Bile aku terpikir balik, mase zaman student dulu, nak sampe 2 hours non stop pn dah mengeluh gile. Kalau la zaman2 student dulu, i can work as long as 16 hours, maybe aku tak perlu melalui 16 hours non stop yang ini. Bile dipikirkan, izzit worth it bekerje mati matian sebegini?Kalu diikotkan, European begitu particular skali dgn kije lebih mase neh, dpt dilihat, working hours depa agak pendek,average not more than 6 hours per day berbanding dgn malaysia yang average at list 9 hours. Gile kan??And paling menyayat hatinye, dr segi salary, tentulah jauh beze sekali gapnye berbanding working hours depa. Sebagai contoh, jika kite bandingkan income let say rm500 and usd 500 per day. Kalu di US, dgn gaji itu kite boleh membeli 2 Ipod Classic 80Gb (retail usd 249), kalu kat malaysia plak, yang hanye mamapu dibeli adalah separuh Ipod sahaje (retail RM 1099). Sooo,sape kate Malaysia actually cost of living murah.

Contoh lain yg mau dikemukakan. Cube lihat harge kerete di Malaysia. Begitu tinggi skali, even Proton pn aku rase agak pricy. Kalu dibuat kajian, Malaysian will spend 1/3 drpd gajinye hanye untuk kerete. Kalu dilihat,byk tuuuu. Kalu di UK, satria NEO hanye dlm linkungan 5000 pound,maknenye kalu gaji seseorg itu let say 2000pound, cukop 3 bulan gaji dah habis bayor kete weyyyy,ni kalu kit minimum pn 3 tahun baru abis.soooo,again,sape kate malaysia ini sebenonye murahhhh.Disebabkan ringgit tak besau, thats why all this things happen. Minyak pn same, RM 1.92 per liter, walhal di US its around 3.50 per gallon ( 1 gallon = 3 liter),so kalu dikirekan dlm 1.20je per liter,and take note that harge minyak depa varies from company and tempat,soooo again sape lagi murah skg neh???Aku bukanlah menyokong barat,cume my 2 sens, mengambil ape yg baik untuk dijadikan contoh.

Anyway, the election is just around the corner. Aku tak lah pernah interested sgt dgn politik sebelum neh. Cume lately je yg aku rase berminat plak. Melihat scenario politik skg, aku rase byk yg perlu di beri perhatian. Maybe aku rase kerajaan skg take for granted sbb dulu dpt majority besau. So, depa pn rilek laaaa.Pada pendapat aku, I hope the current government stays but majority depa dikurangkan. Aku harap kehadiran ramai pembangkang dlm parlimen dpt memperbetolkan kesilapan depa. Kalu takde pembangkang susah plak,nanti government skg syok sendirijelah buat kije, takde org mau pantau. I dont take any side, this is my only opinion as a Malaysian to look for a better Malaysia in the future.

Hello 2008 and goodbye 2007!!In less than 12 hours, we'll be ushering the new year, 2008 with full of big events and surprises. Euro 2008, the Olympics and not to forget the long awaited 3G rollout by DiGi (expected end of Q2 next year). Semue org sebuk dgn new year's resolution masing2, as to start new and fresh. Mmg manusia ni secare normalnye kenkadang mengambil certain special date (birth dates, new year) untuk memuhasabahkan diri, to look back whats done before and cube untuk improve kan diri in the future. Bile dah bermuhasabah, kite akan rase cam ade aura semangat baru untuk go thru hari yg mendatang. But as human, semangat neh tak tahan lame actually, tu pasal there always hari ni azam baru,esok dah back to square one. So the important thing is bukan gempak mane resolutions kite, its how long can we sustain and archive the resolutions and kite set kan.

Looking back at 2007, byk events yang happened around the world. The most recently, Benazir Bhutto kene bunuh and many parties saling tuduh menuduh sape yg bunuh die. Everywhere negare Islam menjadi huru hara. It is sad to see that when the time they need to unite menetang musuh, depa pulak yg saling berperang sesame sendiri. Bilekah semue ini akan berakhir, nobody knows, only time can tell. 2007 also sees where Malaysia dlm keadaan tenang, menjadi port demonstrasi jalanan. From BERSIH to Hindraf, 2 bulan akhir ni seolah2 menjadi trend, every forth nite ade je demonstrasi jalanan. Sampai jam seluruh KL and salah seorg victim jam tu adelah teman sendiri. Personally, Teman taklah anti terhadap demonstrasi ini, it is appropriate actually untuk sedarkan kerajaan bile kerajaan lena tertidur dibuai kemajuan and kemakmuran selame neh. Tapi kalu demonstrate sampe menyusahkan org lain buat ape.Dah jadi lain pulak demonstrasi camtu.

As for me, 2007 teman rase, all the days past pretty fast actually. So much things happen in such a short time. The days and time ofcos stays the same every year (duhhhh), but sungguh pelik skali as there was just so much thing to do and I actually wish that 24 hours in a day is never enough. Work & sleeps have been occupying my days throughout 2007. Mmg tak sangke that how much work takes all the time you have. There goes all my weekdays and nites, no more rongeng and late nite hangouts anymore. Barulah teman paham skg betape preciousnye weekends to working people.You'll try to use the weekends to the fullest (tu yg teman susah mo lekat kat umah kalu weekends). One thing for sure yang teman rase effectnye, is your social life. I mean, due to the busy schedule, agak susah kite nak catch up ngan teman2 sekelas/seuni lame kite, relatives pn agak susah untuk kite berjumpe apetah lagi kalu depa semue duduk jauh. You do make new friends in the office tapi depa semue tu tak boleh digantikan dgn rerakan yg susah lame kite kenal.Kenkadang ade rerakan and relatives yg anggap kite sombong tanpa memahami keadaan yg sebenar. We never ignore them, is just that due to the commitment we have plus the time constraint, tak semue ape kite nak buat ade masenye.

Besides that, rasenye 2007 byk new experiance gained. Ade yg good and other yg bad, so yang bad itu diharapkan tak diulangi lagi. Never thought that I've learn so much since started working. For those who thinks that senior year in Uni is the best time in your life, think twice. Honestly, teman rase mase time uni dulu,mmg sux gile sebabnye culture di uni kite disini terlalu book oriented, semue org bekejaran nak dpt 1st class degree without thinking what they are actually missing, missing in their social life. Agak susah nak tgk graduan kite yg all rounder.Because of that, graduan seperti teman agak susah & take some time to adapt with the working life, not so smooth transition. Anyway, all that is in the past, so no point of mumbling anymore as im looking forward what future has to offer..yiihaaaaa....

Anyway,looking forward to a more challenging, thrill, fun and full of surprises year of 2008!!!!!!

3 days, 2 freaking rock event!!!!Yes yes..I was there..aha..9th December 2007,Stadium Negara..but before I go into the details of the concerts,lets see how hard DiGi is trying to be the best place to work in Malaysia. This was what happen last friday between 3pm - 12 midnight.

Yes everyone....you might heard it on the newspaper, TV , radio, etc.Its official now that DiGi, being the smallest and the most "anak tiri" telco in Malaysia finally gets its long awaited 3G license from Time Dot Com (TDC). Read more here . Doesn't matter what our "air liur meleleh bersembur" Uncle Lim claimed that his kementerian doesn't know about DiGi buying over TDC 3G Spectrum,papers have been signed as black and white proof. So,expect DiGi 3G offer somewhere end of quarter 2 next year.

3G coming and that means what? more work and headache people!!!!. Its a simple equation.

When new service comes in, it will definitely involve new platform as well. So, on top of taking care the current existing platform, now we have a new platform loaded to us..hooooraaaaiiiii!!!!

Anyway, had this opportunity to shot my very first "bertunang event" last weekends in Kuala Selangor. Since its for my housemate faizul, no extra charge for him. I need some learning experience so why not just shot and have fun without having to worry the quality of my shots if I were to charge him on that. Most of the shots are indoor so it sux a big time without and external flash.

"They say that teenager scare a little shit put of me!!!!!". That ring tone woke me up at 9am today. After having to burn the midnight oil just to finish up my 3rd quarter review presentation for my boss tomorrow right up till 5am this morning, teman rase macam nak campak je handphone keluar tingkap,pagi2 cuti umum neh dah bising!!!!.Luckily it was my old pal Amir whom I promised mo teman die pi jumpe pendaftar nikah 2 days ago. So, tak lah make a big fuzz out of that, plus this was my first time being one of the saksi untuk daftar nikah die neh.

When we were in the car on the way to that ustat's house, kitorg pn bersembanglah,berspekulasi ape yg ustat tu akan tanye si amir neh. Owh, before I forgot, he requires 2 saksi actually, so papa ( thats he's nickname,seriously) bersame temanlah yg menjadi saksinye kali neh. Ade gak teman berpikir, memandangkan ustat itu waraq', takke suspend kalu die tanye "Kamu semue dah berhadas besar ke??ustet rasekan seperti kamu semue ini tak suci lagi",mau pengsan kami!!!!dan macam mane pulak kalu die tanye "muka kamu semue ni,ustat rase tak sesuai jadi laki org neh,"...waaaa,jenuhhh tuuuuu...

Mase kami sampai di umah tuu, amir dgn cuaknyee berpeloh2, mengalahkan bebudak mo pi sunat. Kami memberi salam dan salam kami dijawab oleh seorg pakcik berbaju pagoda same kain pelikat dan kopiah.Cuak gak kamu time tu weyyy!!!Ropenye pakcik tu lah ustatnyeeee...

Teman dan papa pn jenuh laaaa point finger to each other menunjukkan yang jawapannye adalah saksi. mangkuk pijar betollah wahai member ku yg seko neh, tak jugak2 dapat signnye..ish ish ish...

Ustat tu pn menjawablah " Saksi amirr. kamu neh,itu pn boleh lupe,ustat tak sign kang surat nikah neh,baru kamu tau" ustat tu berjoking sambil amir plak berpeluh.

Kemudian ustat tu trus menanyatakan " Name bakal org umah sape??"

Dgn spontan amir jawab "M@#$%^& A*&^%(!!!"

"Amboiiiiiii,kalu pase name org umah, laju kamu menjawab ekkk" ustat, aku and papa gelak besauu macam org kene sawan..hahahhaha....

Setelah selesai semue soalan jawab, ustat tu pn sign and chop lah kat borang tuh, siap tulis jawi lagi. Kami bertige blur memikirkan apela yg die tulis, tulisan ala doktor yg mengantok menulis perskription bagi pesakit die.

Kesimpulannye hari neh, teman dapat satu experiance yang baru,selame neh teman ingat mo nikah je kene ade saksi,ropenye mo sign borang nikah pn kene ade saksi. Woww,makin lame makin strict process nak nikah neh,I wonder how is it like 5 years down the line.

Everyday when I look at the mirror,I have to admit that this instant question suddenly poops up in my head, "Will I ever let my hair grow back?"Hmmm,honestly,absolutely not gonna happen.Yeah yeah..I'm losing my hair faster than it can be replace, so what!!!!!! And this is why, a quote this from wikipedia:

Another one of iklan Petronas Hari Raya yg as we all know, byk tersimpan nilai2 murni yg cube ditunjukkan.Seorang ayah tidak jemu melayan kerenah anaknye yg berulang kali tanye name burong tu (ayat last skali tu teman yg menambah, takde dlm iklan tu pn). Bukan semate2 iklan, tetapi untuk memberi keinsafan kepade semue.

As the eldest son in the family, teman ikotje decision my parents takmo balik kampong this year for Hari Raya. Well, it has been 3 years since teman beraye di Kamelen neh. Its pretty different raye kat sini actually. Kat kampung its more like your relatives yg dtg ke rumah, kat sini plak, its more like your friends especially yg non muslim plak yg ramai dtg kerumah. It has always been like this all this years, rumah teman dah macam Gong Xi Fa Chai pulak, relatives from my mom's side yang ramainye.Since kitorg je yg boleh provide homemade rendang and ketupat plus the outsource lemang and kuah kacang, depa pn tak putus2 lepak sini every year during this period of time.

One thing yg teman observe raye neh is how old I am this raye, especially bile teman terserempak ngan junior2 mase semayang raye. Antara paling mengejutkan, teman jumpe budak neh , F (takmo mention name,sensetip), junior aku 4 tahun. Dulunye menjadi bahan ketawe sbb mase kitorg main bola, die dgn otainye berak dlm seluar, cover line baik punye, tapi kantoi gak bile die sliding tackle, terdapat kesan ciritnye di atas lantai...mmg kene gelaklah time tuuu..What a surprise to meet him kat masjid, lagi shoking die skg 1st year kat UPM wat engineering..Wahhhhhhh..another junior aku ni plak, A, dulu mase kami di sekolah rendah, kamilah champion badminton beregu dulu. Kami diibaratkan mcam the Sidek brothers, cume lain mak and ayah je. Ni lagi shocking, hujung tahun ni dah mo tunang!!!! He's actually a year younger than me..Come to think of it, sungguh la cepat mase berlalu.Tidak dilupekan senior aku seorg neh, dulu kami sesame main skateboard ( main skateboard care lain, dok atas skateboard, pastu main turun bukit, extream tuuu) mase kecik2 dulu. Mase raye haritu, die berade di labor room, waiting patiently for his 1st child..hohohhohoo...sungguh aku tak percaye skali die dah mo jadi abah.

Yang paling teman tak tahan gelak bile teringat balik mase 2nd day raye aritu, when S came to my house. Meh la aku bukak introduction dulu. Mase kami kecik2, aku selalu lepak rumah die sebab aku kamcing ngan abang die (senior aku yg mo jadi bapak dah tuhh). Aku selalu dibuli,ade ke patut aku dipakse main kawin2. S tulah pasangan pengantin aku. Aku ngan blurnye pn terimejelah. Bukan stakat tuh, she also had me play masak2, nasiblah aku tak jadi lembut mase besau neh. Parents kitorg pn begitu sporting skali, sampe ayat yg aku paling tak tahan " ni chop eddie wat menantu ek "...aku dgn blurnye hanye mampu tersenyum dan menganggok sambil memikirkan "ape itu menantu? " Mase S and her family came over 2nd raye tuh, kitorg sembang especially kisah2 mase kecik. Sungguh la aku tak sangke, tetibe ayat cepu emas kuar dr mak aku:

" Ingat tak Kak Jah mase deme kecik2 dulu, kite ade wat agreement nak kawin kan diorng ni kan" mak aku dengan selambe kodok bertanye.

" A'ah la Kak Jah ingat " mak S menjawab.

Depa berdua memandang aku dgn muke yg begitu sinis skali, tapi aku tetap maintain.

"Hehehehe, sorry not available" aku dgn selambe badak menjawab.

That moment of selambe badak membuatkan aku terase cam segan plak. Itu aggrement mase kecik2, takde hitam putih, mane valid. Through out the conversation, kitorg gelak besar kisah2 mase kecik2 dulu.

Sedar tak sedar, today is the 19th day of Ramadhan. Gosh, since working I just keep losing track of time. Kenkadang tu, teman rase regret gak disebabkan kesebokan ini, terlalu byk mase yang dibuang tanpe mende yg berfaedah. Time is precious like they say, there is no tomorrow again. Dan kerane mase itu emaslah, teman secare tak sengajenye pi jalan TAR tadi, nak sgt fully utilized mase kononnye. Whenever Hari Raya just around the corner, sebok semue org perkatakan Jalan TAR. So, for the first time sejak teman dok sini, teman pi jalan TAR for some window shopping, hoping not ot get hook on anything (kantoi jugak).

Mat salleh pn ade,ntah apa depa buat kat sini

Ni kedai jual serunding. Not only they are selling the normal
serunding ayam and daging,they also had this serunding ikan.Serunding cipan takde ke kak??
Wonder how does it taste..hmm..me not a big fan of serunding.

The highlight of the day was, it was my niat that I just wanted window shopping and at the same time jalan2 because for the last 5 working days, Ive been sitting in that super freaking freezing cold Data Centre where they were setting up the new MMSC, butttt..at the end, I ended up splashing almost 350 bucks!!!Terkejut gak at first but since this is my first Hari Raya shopping all by my own ( im working ok), tak la teman kisah sgt. Bought some stuff for my family and my self, a pair of new baju melayu ( my last was 4 years ago) plus sampin ( 1st ever samping sendiri, tak payah cilok samping papa teman dah).

I left jalan TAR quite early cos by the time it was 3pm,the place stated to be over crowded!!dah menjadi lautan semut pulak..huhuuhuh...alang2 dah ade kat KL tuh, teman continue my jalan2 di bulan puase to my use-to-be-favorite place to lepak,bukit bintang...

Buat pengetahuan kalian, popia die neh dah masok hampir setiap surat kabo yg dijual kat Malaysia neh, rasenye yg tak masok Harakah je. Sometimes, I realize that time just pass us soo fast, that I actually missing being a small kiddo, just like Tan Hong Ming. Like we always see, the older we grow, the more responsibilities we are bounded to. Just look at him, what ever he does, no matter betape malu pn ape yang die buat, die tak kisah langsung. DiGi had this policy, no more than 10 people from the same department can travel in the same flight. So, the 10 unlucky people (including me!!) had to take Air Asia where a bowl of maggi xpress costs 8 bucks!!!apple juice for 5 bucks!!!sandwiches for 6 bucks!!!.Disebabkan teman lapar,terpakse lah mengap sanwich 8 henggit jugak.It was my first time on board with Air Asia. Teman juge terpinga2 as the boarding pass was as simple as a resit from beli guli kat kedai runcit and they don't have any number on their seats, cam naik bus loncat dari Tapah ke Kamelen plak..first come first serve.

You come to Thailand but you don't see any pondan around, that means you haven't see Thailand at its best. This country is well known for the best and cheapest cosmetic surgery, be it extending, shrinking,changing anything that you wish for. For first timer, it might be hard to differentiate between real girls and pondans.Guys, this is just pondans after all,don't get too excited yet as I haven't go into the "interesting" part of Thailand yet....

First day was just "survey menyervey" as we reach late (around 5pm). We walked around Patong beach area, that was the worst tsunami hit area as our hotel (Patong resort) just 1 minute walk to the beach. Imaginelah kan if that day ade tsunami, selamat tinggal la kawan...huhuhuhu...

This is Patong beach. Notice that chair, if you plan to use it, prepare to pay 50 bath (RM5). According to the locals, during peak season (September - January), you can get the best view ever on the beach, topless mat salleh bertaburan seperti menabur gula ke pasir..huuuuuuu

The 2nd day was a whole day event as we need to travel far to another island, 45 minutes to the jetty and another hour on the boat to actually reach that place. Remember this movie, The Beach, starring Leo Di Caprio??The whole movie was shot in Phi Phi Island (Ghost Ghost Island according to our translation).

Here is one centre of excellence where what ever you wish, you can get.Imitation stuff (shorts, shirts,handbags), massage ( both normal and extra normal), bar with poll dancer (all the bar have poll here!!), strip club..everything!!!

This is how I enjoy my kampung...

1. I don't need to go far to enjoy one of Allah's greatest creation. Just right at the back of my house, there are few jungle walks around. A short walk up and you'll end up enjoying the best view of major parts of the town

2. Once you reaches the top, there is a "usang gile-tunggu mase nak runtuh- tangge curam gile" watch tower.

This is the tower yg kalau 1st timer naik,mesti gerun gile.Climbing up is a piece of cake but coming down...is a piece of shit..hahahah...One of the best "I was here" sign I found at the top of the tower.

3. Once at the top of the tower....enjoy thisss.....

Just to let you guys know what was it like my life 2 years ago, 2005 to be exact:

I was in my 2nd last semester for my degree. It was the soo called "hilang arah dan tak keruan" period cos I'll always remember how struggling I was that time to come out with a strong and doable thesis. Semue bebudak rumah teman time tu cam orang gile, hari2 dok search sane sini nak carik tajuk thesis.Tidak ketinggalan ade gak yg goyang kaki sampe terpakse extend 1 sem semate2 nak siap kan thesis,budussss..
It was the year that i got my 6.0 Liter V12 engine-238 horsepower and 400Nm of torque-18-inch alloy wheels ride. My ride have served me many purpose, dari jejalan sane sini, ke menjadi teksi, dari jadi lori tolong teman pindah, hingga ke Kuantan pn dah lepas dah.
Shah Alam dilande jerebu yg teruk gile. The Uni actually gave us 3 days holiday so that we can get away from the town. It turns out to be not for so long, the next day Shah Alam was back to normal and we still got our 3 days holiday. Cayalahhhh
Teman yang sungguh naive, was in between working and to further my studies after this degree. Wanted sooo much to work cos couldn't resist with the money factor, tapiiii...I would rather be a a student my whole life for now...I miss my longgggg holidaysssss.....
One thing I'll remember the most......that thing happened....nothing more could I ask for...

See, here is the thing. Sometimes when I'm damn free at the office (like now!!), I wish that I was given more jobs and responsibility, so that my 9 boring hours at the office wont be that boring at all. Being sooo into doing your work (kunun..) makes you fell occupied and you wont bother talking to yourself, " Bile nak pkl 6 neh,dah tak tahan do"....Don't get me wrong, I do love what I'm doing now. Is just that I want more responsibility, responsibilities that will make my boring 9 hours at the office wont be that boring at all.Being so bored lately, sometimes I do think of switching to another job...

I had this angan2 for my next and probably my dream job. Forget about computers, servers, vendors, 9 super boring hours at the office.Owhh all that crap!!. You see, "assuming that money will never be a constraint to me", I'm dreaming of getting myself into agriculture sector, specifically the poultry business. For those who miss the first gotcha call from Hitz.FM today (19/7) at 6.30am, too bad cause I was the mastermind behind everything, created a very comprehensive game plan to kenekan "orang" neh. It was like tetibeje came out with the idea, tapi sebenonye I had the niat for a long time and I did my homework to gather as much information as possible before setting up the framework.

This was the game plan. I made JJ pretend to be someone from the HTAA Pengarah's office ( he even mentioned the pengarah's name), called this "orang" telling her that she had been watched since day one of her practicals for ponteng and balik tido as early as 10 am everyday. To add extra spices in the story, I ask him to mentioned that the last time she was caught ponteng was on Monday (16/7) at 10 am. Some guy ( thats me) pick her up with a blue kancil. Im telling you guys, by that time she was gelabah gile cos everything JJ said was true, no any loophole.JJ even asked her who was that guy in the car. She was reluctant to say my name, but when JJ mentioned my name, she was already in the gelabah world.

To make things even more interesting, I did suggested punishment for all the pontengs she had done. I suggested that she needs to re do the practicals for another month. Tak sangke pulak JJ made it even more gempak by saying that she needs to do some office work like filing, data entry (Helloooo,mane ade DR wat data entry), office girl jobs."Orang " neh pn dgn gelabah kodok time tu terime je ape yg JJ cakap sbb bile dah guilty and kantoi,mmg susah nak wat cerite pusing sane sini.Orang yg bersalahkan selalu takleh nak cakap pape, so JJ could not drag it longer since by that time she was already speechless."Orang" ni pn ngaku,she could easily get a heart attack at that time.

It was a short one but I tell you, I wish that I was at her side when this gotcha call was made. Bolehla tgk camne expression muke org neh mase tuuu,mesti pucat gile arrr....gelabah die toksah la ckp,sampe terjatuh2 handphone..hahhahhhaa..muahahahahah...hauahauahauaahaua..kauakauakua...

Apa nak jadi

I'm officially retiring (for now) from being a serious photographer. Due to the lack of feasible studies done before jumping into the DSLR world, I actually wasted some cash buying the Nikon D40 (blame the PC fair for poisoning me into buying) without knowing that it doesn't support auto focusing function on the 50mm f1.8 lens and f1.4 lens at the first place. For those blur blur people, this type of lenses lets you take indoor portrait pictures at low light level. Why buy something sooo pricey when you cant use the autofocus features.Crapppppp!!!!Did manage to let it go out a very rugi price, it would have been worse if I waited longer.

Now I'm back into primitive-not fast enough-blurrr picture compact camera. The weapon I'm using now is Canon Ixus 75. Not as good as the Nikon D40 but due to the compact size, I guess it is more practical to use now as it is easy to carry around. Armed with this new gun, I went on snapping pictures to test as I was in Kuantan last weekends.

Kuantan, still under the Perbandaran category, have what it takes to be consider as Bandaraya. For example, they have a proper bus station, the Terminal Makmur, compare to "Bandaraya Shah Alam" where most of the ticket counter at Section 17 are abandon-hodoh gile-kontena. Cat je warne company bus express and waalllahhh, you have a ticket counter now.

Tapiiii,setelah few days teman observe, ade 1 or 2 things yang membuatkan Kuantan still under Perbandaran. Kuantan tak layak menjadi bandaraya cos:

1. They use this "gores dan menang" kind of ticket for their parking. 1 ticket for 1 hour so imagine how many tickets you need for 10 hours. If you are lucky enough, you might hear people shouting "saya menang moto!!"..hehehheehe....Commonlah, we are in 2007 now, its paperless world!!

2. Some people's language just......"sile jumpe lagi"???what!!!!!!sounds really weird. Bertambah weird cos this is a Malay restaurant, patutlah ramai anak-anak melayu (termasok teman) yang dpt 3B for BM mase SPM.Ni baru satu contoh penggunaan bahase yg lemah.

3. Because of this 2 semi retarded people, Kuantan is never safe come July and August every year. They are everywhere, from Teluk Cempedak to HTAA, depa berdue ni suke mengacau ketenteraman penduduk awam...so beware!!!

Comfort zone

The whole Service Planning department had this call "Personal and Team Effectiveness" seminar for two days beginning yesterday. Not that our team is broken or worse, this is just to improve and add more toppings to our already-performing team. So, with an open heart, all of us attended and one of the topic that interest me the most was about comfort zone.

You can imagine comfort zone like your home sweet home. In your house there is you and your other family members consists of "comfortable","I know", "safe" and "familiar". As long as you are in your home, you'll get to live happily ever after with your family member without having to bother whats happening outside. Now, imagine your house being fenced up around. This fence is to protect you from the outside world. By just being on the fence or maybe near to, you'll feel fear all the time.

Actually, by looking beyond the "fear" fence, you can actually see a lot more than your family can offer, like "unknown","new learning","innovation", "new ways of thinking", "success","failure","creativity" and so on. The outside world offers both negatives and positive outcome to you. As long as you are willing to go out off your "comfort zone" house through the "risk" door, the outcome is there for you to treasure. If you never try to get out of your comfort zone, you'll always be at where you are and you'll never experiance something different than your normal life.

I must say, it had been a very fast moving half year to me. It feels like only yesterday we celebrated new year of 2007. Teman terase seperti mase mengejar teman,bukan teman mengejar mase. Come June now, its like the half time of a football match,the coach starts to yell at the players for all the dumb mistakes they did in the first half. Players pulak cam muhasabah diri and they try to improve the game in the 2nd half. Things that were planned to achieve at the 1st half of year, maybe due to the lack of consistency, tak tercapai pulak. So, this 2nd half of the year will give us the 2nd chance untuk mencapai ape yg tak tercapai in 1st half. Anyway, starting this 2nd half of the year, here are my wishlist. Take note people!!!

Review : Just what I need to complete my Nikon D40. This hotness covers 18mm-200mm which I would say the ultimate all in one lens by Nikon. Im just so into nike. The first is Nike Air Max Breath Cage, which is being worn by Rafael Nadal in the ongoing French Open. Tak tau la kan if this shoes will come to our local stores. The second one is the Nike free 5.o V2. Memang sdap ngan ringan kalu pakai. It takes the inspiration from running barefoot, engineered the technology into this shoe.

4. Oakley CrosshairReview : No need for introduction. OAKLEY!!The best selling shades in the world. Famous for their straight line design on both side of the glasses. Teman dah lame mengidam sebenonye shades with the aviator style. But I dont really like Raybans, even tough they are popular with their aviator style shades disebabkan ramai gile mat rempit beli kat uptown spek rayban ni.
Price : RM450 from a friend of mine yg jadi dealer oakley yg berjaya. Retail price : RM 750
Target date : November maybe. Im not in hurry for this.

I was really surprise to heard the death of Loga, one of the main vocalist for Alleycats on the news last nite. Didnt know that he was suffering from lung cancer for more than a year cos I did catch their gig in Royale Bintang, The Curve somewhere in November. At that time, there were no sign of him having any problem or difficulties with his health.

Makes we wonder

Observing my housemate 2 cute hamster for 2 days in a row makes me wonder what is actually going on with them. They were very active,jumping here and there, but with very small appetite, that doesn't make any sense to me. Punyelah active depa sampe tunggang langgang playground diorng. Setelah teman tubohkan geng Edisi Siasat and Mat Skondeng untuk investigate, rupa rupanya:

Anyway, It has been a while since I use the public transport. Having a car means convenient and saving time, so why go through all those hassle using public transport rite?I've been reading on many articles regarding the improvement of public transportation especially in KL. Intrakota have been replaced by RapidKL which translate into less stalled buses on the road, centralize bus hub in KL Central and many more.It makes me wonder did they improve the ever-slow-mo Komuter?Did some test, and here's the results:

Test 1 : Asia Jaya Putra LRT station to KL Sentral

Parking was the issue here. I guess if government really wants to encourage people to use public transport, they should provide ample parking space plus a minimum fee as low as possible.3 bucks for a whole day parking which I think is not worth it since its an open space parking.LRT wise, I find it very efficient, the train came on time and not many people were inside.
IMPROVEMENT NEEDED : More and cheaper parking space please

Test 2 : KL Sentral monorail station to BB Plaza

Its kinda funny why did the government didn't connect the Brickfields monorail station to the KL Sentral.What when wrong actually? KL Sentral supposed to be the hub and integration point of all kinds of public transportation.

Korg tau la kan, dah le we Malaysian ni mmg ketegaq nak naik public transport, ni kan pulak kene jalan around 500m,mmg lah susahnye.In other words, not efficient enough!!The headache comes when queuing up to get the tickets. Like always, why queue when you can potong the line to get in front. Time tu jugak la ramai Indons dalam queue yang aku rase body odour diorg boleh mencairkan Everest.Bau achem!!!!

IMPROVEMENT NEEDED: Relocate the ticket counter so that people can queue properly, takde lah berato sampe ke jalan raye, kene langgo nanti sape susah. I think the government should encourage more on using Touch N Go. Tak payah la nak berato panjang2 camni lagi

Test 3 : Bukit Bintang to KLCC via kaki ku sendiri

Believe it or not, if you wanna get to KLCC from Bukit Bintang which is around 2KM, the only public transport available is taxi. Korg tau la kan taxi this days mencekik bukan saje darah tetapi juga kepale lutut kite. If you wanna use the train you need to get back to KL Sentral via monorel and change to Putra LRT or if you wanna use the bus, you need to get to Central Market, change another bus over there. What can I say, Malaysia Boleh!!!Mende yang simple pn kene di complicated kan.

Walaupun menapak, I have to puji the DBKL because there were sufficient signboards to guide you to KLCC. Nasib baik teman tau jalan short cut via Jln Raja Chulan, kalu tak, mau dah pengsan tgh jalan. The landscape all the way to KLCC was good accept for, due to the litterbug, sampah sane sini mmglah tak boleh dielakkan

IMPROVEMENT NEEDED : Well, I think it is more practical if the bus were to pass KLCC first before going to KL Sentral. To integrate the train station I think is possible but it might cost a bomb due to the lack of land in between them, the only way is connecting via underground

Smooth ride I would say except for the over crowded train. It became even worst when stopping at the Masjid Jamek interchange. Dah le org ramai, body odour tuu tok sah la cite!!Teman nak suggest kat Jabatan Alam Sekitar to monitor tahap API dlm train tuu, teman rase mau sampe 300 cam time jerebu dulu.
IMPROVEMENT NEEDED: The train should be added with more coaches, 2 je mane cukop weyyy

CONCLUSION : I think the public transportation have improve a lot since 2 years back. But still many things the government need to consider especially the integration point for all the transportation available. For us the public is simple, you provide us with the highest ever efficient possible public transport, we'll use them tanpa byk soal!!!Betol tak???

Hahaha..I just cant stop laughing when I think of what happen this morning. Cubelah korg bayangkan, sekumpulan mat salleh diberi peluang untuk makan durian grad D24. Not only they get to taste the finest gred of durian, they were also given the opportunity to open it themself, hanye dgn sebilah parang and kain.

It started with people chanting "EAT EAT EAT EAT", I didnt know at first what was happening outside. Ropenye,terkejut teman our CEO, Morten Lundal dgn terceretnye cube nak bukak buah durian!!!He did managed to opened eventually walaupun muke die time tu dah merah gilee..Pas die bukak, the chanting was even louder. So, dgn machonye die pn makan la seulas....with 2 glasses of water waiting for him in case die tercekik sbb tak leh terime..

What actually made him to eat durian yg mmg di anti oleh mat salleh??Die ni sebenonye membayar nazar, when he came to DiGi 4 years ago, DiGi was at the worst possible situation ever in terms of financial. Die bernazar if in 4 years time, DiGi can make profit at list 25% each year, die akan makan dorian. Fast forward 4 years, and now, even though DiGi is still third in term of total subscriber BUT in terms of profit making, we are making and average of 30% profit each year since he took over as CEO which is the highest compare to geng merah and geng ungu.Ah, not to forget, we just pitted geng ungu for 2nd place in terms of total prepaid subscriber.

Anyway, kalau CEO dapat makan dorian, other staff what do we get??

Govt servants get big raise (The Star)

PUTRAJAYA: Government servants will get a pay raise of between 7.5% and 35%, effective 1 July, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi announced Monday.

The cost of living allowance will also be increased by 100%, he said.

Members of the police and the armed forces will receive 20% over and above the announced increase in pay.

Wah!!sungguh generous skali government this year, taking advantage of our rapid growing economy, to give a I would say, Much-Needed-But-Not-Everyone-Deserved pay rise. Don't get me wrong, I'am not an anti gomen person. When we talk about government people, we as the public already know what to expect from them. Inefficient work, long red tape, tea break at 10.30am with possible extension till lunch hour and the list just goes on.

I'm not generalizing all the government people being what I've mention above.There are indeed some that is very professional in doing their job.These people are the ones who deserve the pay rise. In my opinion, those generasi seangkatan teman yg jadi org gomen needs to revolutionize and change the mentality of government people. Kebanyakan geng2 veteran yg dalam government have this "tak kisah" mindset. "Buat apa teman koje gile2, gomen kaya, koje gomen secure, mane ade gomen kat dunia ni yg bankrup". Can't imagine what does it like working with this people if the government decides to extend umor pencen to 60.

Bagaimanakah kite hendak mencapai status negare maju with this kind of mentality? If this stays, in the future Malaysia mungkin maju in terms of infrastructure but in terms of human capitol, its going the other way.Hopefully, with this new pay rise, it'll attract more younger generation to work with government and hopefully they can bring positive changers. Takkanlah dari dulu sampe kesudah, takde pape pn improvement dlm government.Letih la teman camtuuu..

Almost 3 months now, this is what DiGi have made me:

Positive side:

1. Ka Ching..Ka Ching..somehow you'll always want it more and more.
2. Hangout with the players in the telecommunications industry..from the biggest name like Ericsson and Nokia to those Chinamen and Korean people who tak ckp sepatah haram English macam Huawei and Samsung. It makes you understand what's globalization this days
3. Working + Party + Great time = DiGI...That is one money can't buy experience you can get here.
4. It feels good and I take pride because public out there are using MMS and MobileTV services which I actually involved in planning, managing & maintaining the whole system.
5. Responsibility is one damn important thing. Your job and its your responsibility to get it done as fast as possible without compromising the quality.
6. Never have to worry anymore on my phone bills!!!Who needs to sms when you can call anyone anywhere for free rite.
7. Mase itu emas. Selagi tak kije, selagi tulah kite terpikir apekehe la org dulu compare mase itu emas,nape tak platinum ke,titanium ke. Time is very precious!!!

Negative side:

1. I miss my more than 7 hours a day of sleeping time
2. I skip meals just to finish my work
3. I cant go shopping on weekdays
4. My 2 days of weekends is like so damn precious this days.
5. I miss my student life where I can hangout everyday till the wee hours
2. I dream of having more than 24 hours a day

Chak!!!!!!!

After loosing my shoes during the Friday prayers, it makes me think twice not to be soooo careless next time. I felt very pist off, both at me cos I was so sengal at that time (manelah ade org pi masjid pakai kasut nike,mmg le kene curik) and at that lahabau who curik my shoes!!Kalu nak duit pn, pi lah carik kije,curik kasut kat masjid watpe!!Well, mende dah jadi, tak leh nak wat papekan, so I guess in the future I need to be extra carefull.

I was tagged few days ago, so here it goes:

1) Describe the perfect woman in you own words.

I must say, a woman who can make me weak in the knees. Bile jumpe je, my whole damn body terase macam adrenaline rush. She must be the one that understands me very well, therefore she must know how I like to run my life. The most important thing is, she must be very independant, doesn't need me to be there all the time. In other words, don't be tooo possessive. Somebody who have the highest level of trust between us. Kalu ragu-ragu, please use the nearest exit door.

2) Most treasured moments

- Somewhere in 1990, when I was still that little kanak-kanak Ribena. At that time, playing and have fun was the world to me. I was in Kindergarten 1 Blue. I will always remember the time during our concert. We had this yearly concert just for the parents. During my time, my teacher decided to throw the twist for us. We danced with Chubby Checkers "Twist Again" hit song. Paling menyegankan,we had to wear this extra skimpy t shirt yang mendedahkan pusat teman yg bulat macam apple.It was so memalukan but like I said, zaman kanak-kanak Ribena, we dont care about maluness..hahah...

I would like to gather all of you guys one day and we can take a photo exactly like this at the same exact place.

- Form 5, 2001. Why it keeps on reminding me? During that time, together with my gang, we rule the school!!!In the good way actually, bukannye jadi samseng. The gang would hold many posts in clubs and society. Its like the same people will hold the same position in all the clubs. Kroniism la senang cite..hahaha.. One funny thing happen that time, I remember when result SPM kene tahan cos we actually seludop duit yuran English Society. We were so pissed off with the juniors for not spending any money for us as we were about to leave the school, so we decided to use the money to buy stuff for all the form 5 members. At the end, we returned all the stuff we bought in the exchange for the SPM slip.Guess who was the treasurer that time??Me......

SMKSAS 5A SPM 2001.Half of us was eyeing to be doctors after school including me, I wonder berape la yg actually meet their ambition.Let see, we have 3 doctors, 6 engineers, 3 cikgus and the rest, tak tau lah ape yg diorg buat skg
